Lessons from rich dad poor dad.

Friends all of us want to get rich, lead a comfortable life, enjoy all the luxuries available that money can buy, but the sad part is not everyone becomes rich.

Many blame their current jobs, some their luck, some even complaint about lack of funds they got from their ancestors because of which they are not rich.

But friends if you ask me, I would hold you solely responsible for not being rich. Friends everyone can become rich if they work smart, save money and properly invest their money.

The first thing that you need in this process is, change in your attitude, your approach towards money.

So today through this post, I'm going to introduce you to the world's best financial bible RICH DAD POOR DAD by Robert kiyosaki.

This book has done wonders to me, and I'm sure it will be a great catalyst in your life too.

So here in this post I'm going to share the lessons from rich dad poor dad which when followed will do wonders for you.

1. Create multiple sources of income.

We see most of the people have their profession/job as their only source of income, but if you want to become rich, go on creating more and more sources of income. And keep on investing this income to buy more assets.

2. Buy assets and not liabilities.

Friends the next lesson that the book teaches is to buy assets and not liabilities.

What is asset?

Things that add money to your pocket are assets, eg are shares, property etc.

What are liabilities?

Things that take money from your pocket are liabilities.

Often we see middle class people save x amount of money, and then splurge it on some liabilities eg a car, an expensive phone etc.

On the other hand, rich people save and then invest into some assets class, and the income that is generated from this asset class is used for spending.

3. Read good books.

Friends the book asks you to read good books, as one becomes what he reads, so you should always have company of good books.

4. Keep on updating yourself.

Friends one doesn't become rich overnight, it's a sum of smart work + saving + investing over a long term.

So one should keep himself updated about various topics like taxation, finance, equity, investing etc.

5. Choose your profession/job wisely

Friends for more than half of your life, you will be working. So it's very important to select a profession/job you love. Otherwise you will get frustrated.

Also simultaneously keep on developing new skills.

6. Do thorough research before investing.

Friends the book tells before investing, into any assets class one should do thorough research about it.

One should have sound information about it.

7. Don't get distracted by what people say.

Friends book tells us that if you have an idea which you believe can bring change to your life, then go by your gut feeling.

People are gonna talk, criticize, laugh at you but you should not stop if you believe in the beauty of your dreams.

8. Never say I can't.

Friends you should not keep on telling your mind that I cant do this, i can't buy this in this way your brain finds out excuses for why you can't do it, or why you can't buy it.

On the other hand keep on telling your mind that yes I can do it, yes i can buy it, in this way your mind will start finding out ways to get it done in your favor.

9. Develop passive income.

What is passive income?

Friends suppose you have an apartment, which you have given on rent, now in this case you will be getting monthly rent from it. This is an eg of passive income.

The best thing about passive income is you need not be physically present for generating income.

10. Be a good listener.

Friends the book tells us to develop the quality of listening to others who are more experienced than you are. And collect more and more information from them.
